PAGES vi

The first PAGES event took place in November, 2008. The keynote speakers were Eleanor Wachtel, of CBC Radio; and librarian Nancy Pearl.

"It was a wonderful day. I came away energized and relaxed(!) I would love to see this conference held again."

"This was a very worthwhile conference. I was awakened to the importance of readers' advisory in libraries and how we can provide an improved service to our patrons, while improving our own skills and knowledge. Thank you very much for this opportunity."

"This was a wonderful conference - thank you to the organizers! After my raving about how great it was, my colleagues are definitely interested in attending in future years. I'm looking forward to that as well. It's possible that you might need a larger venue and should consider making it a paid event. It's definitely worth it!"
